The EGGSITE package is a complete kit specifically offered by WATAVI to poultry farmers. It saves time, effort and money when mucking out under aviary and nest systems on egg farms at turnaround and is excellent for all year round litter management.
The German Westermann Electric scraper base unit offers a very quiet but powerful 800W emission-free machine. The 5mm galvanised chassis makes it extremely robust and easy to clean down after use.
The TELEPIVOT accessory set includes the telescopic pivoting arm (Registered Design Ⓓ: 6507418) and 3 blades. The weight it is and shape of the TELEPIVOT accessories have been designed to offer a good weight distribution and to maximise the manoeuvrability of the scraper by the operator.
Forward or reverse gear is selected by a flick of a switch most stubborn capped muck and engaged with a simple thumb throttle. The EGGSITE can operate equally powerfully in reverse-pull and forward-push mode. With the TELEPIVOT scraper set included in the package this enables you to dislodge the
.
The TELEPIVOT arm keeps the scraper blades flat to the floor when running over uneven surfaces and the arm extension of up to 1030mm length enables a total reach of over 2m under platforms. The arm itself can be pivoted through 45 degrees into an 'offset' position either side of the base unit.
The EGGSITE blades comprise a standard 800mm push sweeping 'shield', a 450mm pull or push cutting blade and a 900mm pull or push cutting blade. The cutting blades have a variable angle setting according to requirements.
We have added extra flexibility to handle height to get lower under systems if required and we have added a hand safety guard to give much safer access under platforms and nests.
With a standard set of wheels the EGGSITE is 710mm wide giving you good access to most of your confined spaces. If you have narrower 700mm wide gates we can offer the unit with our 'skinny' wheels. (If these are required contact us separately)
The EGGSITE boasts an impressive continuous working time per charge of up to 100 minutes from 24V (2 x12V) rechargeable batteries. (Our own practical experience is that in the stop-start of mucking out under aviary systems it usually lasts the day.) The reliable battery system can be charged with its standard plug-in charging system to mains electricity.
